Overpriced?

I know what overpriced means but I think it is not right to use in my situation but I cannot think of another word.

I'm describing an expensive product but it is a fair price in the market, but "overpriced product" sounds like it is deliberately marked up the price in hope of getting someone less smart to buy it right? For example, the product was only $100 last year but now it's $1000 or $10000 this year but it is the fair price in the market of demand and supply, what is the adjective to describe such product?
