1a. Keith was a student who was always highly assessed during the probations at famous companies.

1b. Keith was a student who was always overestimated during the probations at famous companies.

Are these sentences grammatical and ok to say?

They are grammatically fine. Please understand, however, that they could mean two different things. 1a means simply that he was given high marks during assessment, but does not specify if those marks were accurate or not.

  • 1b means that the high marks were not accurate- if he was overestimated then he was estimated at a higher level than that to which he actually performs.
