Is it clear from the context in what sense "stretches" is used?
The only meaning I can think of that would make much sense is that of physical exercises. If so, I would understand "overall" to mean "general-purpose", "suiting most people" and/or "exercising the whole body".*

Yes, it's about physical exercises.
To me it means that here we have some general stretching exercises, but, because they are general (maybe too general) they won't satisfy the needs of all people. So some people will have to train something different, I guess.
