Over time

Over time, customers grow to expect a certain level of quality and performance from a product or service. If I'm in a foreign country and need shampoo, I'm going to buy a name brand because I know it will be good. Name brands deliver quality consistently, regardless of time or location.

Over a period of time, ... efficiencey ... offer/send/give ... place.

Hi,

The second of the above is how I interpret the first; correct me if I am wrong. Thanks.

Hi Angliholic I'd interpret the various words in boldface type this way: Over time : In the context, this refers to the time a customer has been using a product/service. The longer a customer uses a product/service, the more the customer's expectations and preferences solidify. deliver : provide (the customer) with location : place (where the customer is)
