2) They walked over the mountain.
3) They moved over the mountain.

In which case:
a) They go from one side of the mountain to the other.
b) They move about on the mountain .
c) Their movement takes place above the mountain and from one side to the other. (They are in a balloon or a helicopter or..._
d) Their movement takes place above the mountain , but not from one side to the other. (They are in a ballon or a helicopter...)
