I will have to read every post over to make sure that I haven't forgot any words/phrase.

I used to have $ 5,000 in my pocket every day but that's all over.

My home work is over.

I have some money over after I paid for my admission fees.

The last sentence would be o.k. as you wrote it if the first verb were in the past.
Do you mean, this "I had some money over after I paid for my admission fees" is correct?

Doesn't it need "left over"?. Is the "over" itself enough?
