Over Falklands

Dear native English speakers

Can you please clear up which name is used for the Falklands - can also 'Faulklands ' be used or Falkland /Falklands is the only acceptable form? I'm asking because

I'm finishing an essay on British empire.

Greetings

They were named after after Anthony Cary, 5th Viscount Falkland (1659–1694). Although 'Cary' was also spelt 'Carey', I can find no online reference that suggests that 'Falkland' was ever spelt otherwise.
