Over accommodate

Hey all,
What does it mean to "over accommodate" or overaccommodate?
Thanks.

Usually, when we "over"-something, we go too far, or at least further than necessary. I've never heard this use, but it sounds like someone went way over what was necessary. The hotel room was overaccomodated for the length of time we were going to spend there.

Yes I guessed this meaning at first but this term was used by a doctor who answered my question here:
People in their 20s and younger sometimes overaccomodate making their vision blurry at distance. This gets better with eye rest/relaxation. Not very common/likely so I wouldn't worry about it. Your eye doctor could check for this by what is called the overplus technique. They will

Hi,

What was the question you asked the doctor?

That doesn't make any sense to me at all. But then, I'm neither an eye doctor nor a person in his 20s.

Lately some strange things are happening to my eyes, some times I can see without glaasses.I asked the reason for this.I think the doctor's native language is not English.

It sounds like a psuedo synonym for "overcompensate."

You make an adjustment in the way you do something, in order to correct for some new deficiency.
At first it helps, but then you go too far with this process, and the outcome worsens.

You have a soft tire on the left front, so you steer to the right. It soon becomes a habit, but then you go too far.
