Hello everybody , while occupied in ? discussing business over golf , what does 'over' mean there?('we were discussing business over golf when you came in)? I would say discussing business about golf ,is it possible to say about for that sentence?

No. The "over" tells you what they were doing while they had the discussion. If you say "about" it means they were discussiong this topic.

We talked about golf over tea. -- The topic was golf. You were drinking tea.
We talked about dogs over golf. -- The topic was dogs. You were playing golf.

Would the meaning change if we said:

While playing golf we talked about tea.
When playing golf we talked about tea.

My personal preferece is to use while with the -ing form. I find it easier to teach this distinction to second-language learners.
