Out side of school

Hello,

I've been told that "outside of school time" is incorrect to say, yet I've seen people use this expression. Which is it , correct or not ?

Thanks

It makes sense to me, except that of is unnecessary after outside (which is a preposition of its own). She works outside the home. ~ She is painting the wall on the outside of her house.
