Out of the two, among/between the two, from the two?

Hello experts,

I have a question regarding the usage of those phrases. Here's an example and please do correct if it's wrong.

"Shannon is smart, so is Shondra, but...

1. ...Shannon is the smarter one between both/the two."

2. ...Shannon is the smarter one out of both/the two."

3. ...Shannon is the smarter one from both/the two."

Are they grammatically correct? For the usage of both "both" and "the two"?

Many thanks for your help !
