There's no need to overthink these things. In AmE you would probably just say something like this: Someone wants to take private lessons with me. I'm gong to be giving private lessons.

I have no idea how to say this: "He wants to take private Italian lessons out of the course" I need to say that this person wants to have private classes with me. Is it correct "out of the course" ?

Pamela81I just would like to know if it is correct to say "to have" instead of "to take" lessons...I think most native speakers would find "to have lessons" odd sounding but understandable, the standard phrase is "to take lessons."
