I still say that out of question has no meaning, in British English anyway. Jasondai, where do you get 'undoubtedly' from? Is this an American English phrase?

Out of the question can mean impossible, absolutely not, etc - basically a strong negation.

"out of question" has no meaning in American English either. I don't know where the "undoubtedly" idea comes from! Most likely it's a misunderstanding of "without question".

When we say someone is a native speaker of a language, it is their first language. Therefore English is my first language.
