'out in' vs 'onto'

Dear teachers

Is the first sentence OK?

They have money to buy everything that comes out in the market.
They have money to buy everything that comes onto the market.

I was taught the second is OK but the first is unnatural English.

Although I have a British training, I was really hoping the first was acceptable, at least, in other countries.
