our church logo

our church logo says "turning our life around for Christ', but shouldn't it say "turning our lives around for Christ"?

I think you are correct. In the singular, it would refer to the church as a whole, and I believe that the church has already focused itself on Christ.

Yes and no. Life is not ungrammatical but as many people are involved, the singular noun would indicate a lifestyle common to all. As each individual has personal responsibility in religious matters, I would prefer the plural lives.

Cf.

Five sailors lost their lives in the shipwreck.
