Our bodyguard

Are these sentences correct:
1) Our bodyguard travelling to Paris later became a martial arts instructor.
Meaning: The person who was our bodyguard when we were travelling to Paris later became a martial arts instructor.
I think it is unclear whether we used to travel to Paris and always had the same bodyguard or if we went there only once.

2) Our referee playing the the final in 2015 admitted that he had been got to.
Meaning: The person who was our referee when we played the final in 2015 admitted that he had been got to.
There obviously was only one final.

Gratefully,
Navi.

The sentence is not about the speaker's trip/s to Paris, whether there was just or many. There is no mention of that. We readers have no idea about that from the sentence.
