Our aim should be improve farming methods

Hello all,
These senetnces are arguments agianst vegetarianism.
I am not sure if the sentence number #5 is correct or not, as it was written by someone who is not only an IELST examiner but also a navite English speaker.
I don't now 'be' should be ommited or 'improve' changed to 'improved'.

Our aim should be improving farming methods.

Our aim should be improved farming method.

  1. Vegetarians do not eat a balanced diet
  2. In many cultures, meat is the main ingredient in traditional meals
  3. Meat-eaters argue that animals are below humans in the food chain
  4. It is completely natural for us to kill them for food

  6. Farms should produce organic food
