OT-Rachal Ray scarf = more morons

Question

So, Rachal Ray wore a scarf around her neck in a Dunkin Donuts commercial, given to her by her dresser. The scarf contains a black pattern on a white background.
Yassir Arafat also wore a scarf on his head that also a black pattern on a white background. Totally different pattern by the way.

No other relationship between the two. Either between the two scarfs, or between Rachel Ray and Yassir Arafat. Or between Dunkin Donuts and the Palestinians.
But apparently, this is a big "controversy" and there have been "complaints" and now Dunkin Donuts is pulling the commercial.

Why?
Because this country is full of *** morons.
The same morons who still think that Barack Obama is a Muslim they're the morons who think that Rachal Ray is somehow wearing a pro- Palestinian scarf during a Dunkin Donuts commercial.

It's hardly worth pointing out. But AdLand has a bunch of photos of various scarf-wearers. Plus a link to McCain's daughter wearing one. Seems like you're heading for a tighter dress code in the US than the Lebanon.

This is just... sad. Not funny, not annoying, not anything. Just sad. Not just that we're that stupid (of course we are) but that we're that GUTLESS, that some corporate flak gets an absurd complaint from a nut-job who sees secret political messages in the wardrobe in a Dunkin' Donuts commercial, and decides that the safe thing to do is pull the ad.

You all should know better than to fall for this ***. Its fake, it went viral and now everybody involved got a ton of free publicity. Goobers that had never heard of Rachel Ray checked her out. And alot of them will think she's ****. Goobers that had never heard of Michelle Malkin checked her out. And alot of them will think shes ****. Right now Rachel Ray the media empire is struggling to keep afloat. She's on the outs with Oprah, right? no? maybe?

These network executives and media moguls are ruthless. You have to stay in the spotlight. No matter what. You must remain in print and on television, or someone else will occupy that chunk of Americas attention span. Apple releases products at 5pm because Jobs know every local news station will cover the line at the Apple store live.

Somebody set up Ray and Malkin and Dunkin. Hold, on. I just checked the picture again, and noticed that her eyebrows have been harvested and shaped in Ayatolla Khomeni style. Also, whats that mysterious building behind her? The spray-on Orange Oompa Loompa tan is disturbing, but then again she would get hit in the face with rocks if she walked around Evildoerland with a plunging t-shirt neckline like that, which brings up why wouldnt she just get a ****-job already?
