original form or present participle

My original sentense is: The only thing he does is drinking beers and ordering more beers. My professor revised it to: The only thing he does is drinking beers and order more beers. Can anybody share any thoughts on this? I don't understand why I should use "order" in its original form, while "drinking" is in present participle.
