Oriental medicine

Hi teachers~

I heard 'oriental medicine' isn't really common any longer because the word 'oriental' isn't respectful for some reason.

Somebody who lived in the States for 12 years said 'oriental medicine', and I think Chinese medicine is more appropriate these days.

Can you tell me which one is right?
