Organic in nature...

Hi

Would you say both of these sentences are equally natural?

People don't develop schizophrenia overnight; it's organic in nature.
People don't develop schizophernia overnight; it's organic to nature.

I can't see the connection between "it's organic in nature" and the main part of the sentence.

This means that schizophrenia cannot develop instantly with no prior organic brain changes. However as far as I know modern psychiatry doesn't consider schizophrenia as only organic disease.
