Order of adjectives

I’m running out of space to put things, so I just pile them into my ---------- closet.

1) over-crowded little dark bedroom
2) little over-crowded dark bedroom

I think #1 is far better than #2. However, let me know whether #2 is a possibility or not.

Both suffer from too many adjectives, but I suggest that you begin with the shortest ones: My dark little over-crowded bedroom closet.

Dark is an adjective describing the colour. Little describes the size and over-crowded describes the opinion/quality. Based on the order of adjectives, quality/opinion should come first. Correct me.

It is not written in stone. Style comes into play. No native speaker considers such lists. I have given you what is to me the most native order there.
