Order in a restaurant

I and my friend like to order salmon steaks in a restaurant, but we don't know whether the restaurant serves it.
In such that case, can I say to a waiter/watress, "Shall we have salmon steaks?" to confirm it?

Saying "Shall we ~" to a waiter/waitress sounds akward?
Of course, here, the 'we' means me and my friend.

Hello Lucas.
Say "my friend and I" not "I and my friend."

You look at the menu to determine whether a restaurant serves a certain food. If you wonder whether there might be a few choices that are not on the menu, you can ask your server "Do you have any salmon available?"

do not say "Shall we have...?" That is very unnatural.
