Order

When you have to take/bring bars; you have to take/bring the shortest one first and then the second shortest one, the third, fourth.... the last one which is the longest one.

How do you say this?

You have to take/bring those bars in order of increasing length?

Thanks

You have to take/bring those bars in order of increasing length ? " I suppose one may argue that this is not necessary, but you may also argue that the added caveat eliminates the need for a certain logical process, not to mention the potential for confusion/error. Of course, if this is part of an intelligence test, make it tough!
