orange tree

Dear Teachers,

- Please help me correct the paragraph below if you find any mistake:

“ When I was a child, I lived in a small village, it’s name was Thot Not in Can Tho province . My house only had a floor, and it was very old. It only had a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. And I remember there were a lot of/lots of trees and flowers in the garden. Anyway up to now I still love it very much, because it was a very lovely house.

Thanks a lot.

Is it possible that the house had two bedrooms, rather than two bathrooms? Why would a small, old house have two bathrooms? - Just curious!

Emotion: smile

And both on the same floor...

I think this occurred to me because some of my ESL students (Russians) have trouble distinguishing between the pronunciation of "bathroom" and "bedroom" -- both are more or less "badroom" -- although they don't generally mix them up in writing.
