Grammar

'or something' VS. 'or something like that'

1) Would you like some coffee or something?
2) Would you like some coffee or something like that?

I feel like they are interchangeable for the same meaning and they are always used interchangeably for the same meaning. What do you native English speakers think?

Thank you so much as usual in advance.

Hans51 I feel like they are interchangeable for the same meaning and they are always used interchangeably for the same meaning. Yes, but I doubt you would hear #2 from a native speaker very often.
