'Or' or 'And'?

Hello, i was reviewing my past-years english questions and i find a question ambigous :

Teenagers find many ways to drive their parents crazy. They may dye their hair purple or they may shave/cut their heads bald. They may also shred their new sixydollar-desiner jeans, tatto their skin and/or wear rings in their noses.

It seems both are acceptable. if i put 'or', would this mean he only did one of those? Also, if i put 'and', this implies he did all of the actions?

  • Yes, but most people would realize that you do not mean that, because it does not really make sense.
