Or and subject/verb agreement

Hello,

Team members or Jill has the pencil.

Jill or Team members have the pencil.

Are these correct? The verb follows the closest subject in the case of "OR"?

Hello,

"Team members" requires an article, and "Team" should not be capitalized when it's not the first word in the sentence.

However, you have the verb agreement written correctly.
