Option/answer

Hi

Please tell me which of them is appropriate.

The context is the instruction for a question that has a set of options. The test taker needs to choose the the correct one.

Choose the correct option/correct answer.

I am not sure with this because when I say "choose the correct answer", I seem to imply that even the others are answers and out of which the"correct" one should be chosen.

Isn't answer something there can be only one?

Please give your views.

So yes, it's possible to have a "correct answer".

Either "correct option" or "correct answer" is fine in your example.
