Optional prepositions

Hi

Would you say that the underlined prepositions are all optional in these sentences?

Stop ogling at the girls.

Tina craved for something sweet.

I woke up to the sound of torrential rain.

Thanks,

Tom

They're wrong in #1 and #2, as 'ogle' means 'look at' and 'crave' means long for'. 'Up' is optional in #3 (if you had numbered them).
