Thank you Clive.

Is there any other way to say the same without using the "preceded by"?

Please help me.

People often say something like the word 'the' comes in front of the word 'sentence'.

Best wishes, Clive

Thank you Clive, again.

I have read the sentence.

Here, the word "the" is followed by the word "sentence". And the word "sentence" follows the word "the", I think. Am I right?

Please help me.
