I wonder, would 'voiced' work?

It would work as long as it wasn't in a text on phonetics, where it could cause confusion. 'voiced' and 'unvoiced' are special terms that apply to consonant types. For example, we say that /b/ is a voiced consonant and /p/ is an unvoiced consonant.
