0 Thanks, Krish and Clive. However, I can't find the word "prepone" from both Cambridge Advanced and American Heritage Dictionary. Also, is it OK to say "I want to advance the meeting to Feb 20"? Thanks.02br

0I agree with Clive. It should be "advance".02br

00Rishonly, "prepone" is Indlish - I used to use it a lot myself, but then I read an article in Readers' Digest which taught me that "prepone" is one of a few words that Indians have created for their own convenience. 05000.02br

0Hi guys,02br
02br
00I didn't realize that 'prepone' was a word in use in India. If that's the case, I wouldn't want to say it's incorrect, I'd prefer to say simply that it is not a word used in BrE or NAmE. 02br
02br
00I think that such 'regional differences' should be respected.02br

00Best wishes, Clive0-
