Opposite of loud/loudly and difference between over and above

Hello! I am not sure about the opposites of the following sentences:

1) The band was playing loud/loudly. > The band was playing quietly/softly

2) Listen to music loud/loudly. > Listen to music quietly/ softly

And one more: Is it correct to say "Put the painting over the bed" or "Put the painting above the bed"?

Thanks in advance!
