Collectivism is better.

When I looked up "collectivism" in the dictionary, the first definition was "the philosophy of communism." Since "individualism" doesn't have a political agenda, I thought maybe another word would be more appropriate.

But for the record, my first choice was also the word "collectivism".

I'd go with collectivism, as the link with communism must be faltering as the whole politcal frame has faltered!
