Opposite of immoral

Hi

What is the opposite of "immoral"? I mean those people who are not immoral, what adjective should I use for them? For example, what should I write in the blank?

You are comparing Mrs. Jones with your wife? Can't you even draw a line between immoral women and _______________________?

Thanks,

Tom

Thanks, MM.

So saying something like this is OK?

I know his wife is a very moral lady.

I have seen "immoral" in such contexts, but interestingly never saw "moral" used like this. So, decided to confirm. Please let me know.

It sounds OK to me. Other members may prefer 'upright' or something else.

Hi Tom,

The opposite of 'immoral' is 'moral' and both are 'adjectives'.

If you are after the word 'morale', I am sorry.

Thank you.
