Opposite of “belittle yourself”

Is big oneself up natural? Is there another word for this? Popular or prominent or popular don’t seem correct. I’m trying to say that she says everyone knows her and she is an example in her line of work.

I think she’s a liar. She’s not as popular/prominent in her line of work. She bigs herself up.

Is it correct to say “She is an example in her line of work”?

thanks
