Opposite adjective for "professional"...

Can you please tell me what would be the opposite adjective for "professional" in "professional rental manager"? I.e. I need to write about the person who is starting his career in rental industry. Will "starting rental manager" be ok? Thanks in advance.

Butterfly wings, yes, an adjective, you are right. Perhaps I did not make myself clear enough. I meant not unprofessional, but the point was to find the right adjective for those, who start working in the industry. Thanks anyway
