opnion vs. opinions

Hi,

A bit confused by the counting of "opinion".

My boss is asking how I feel about the company's outsourcing projects. I write a report on it. The report has many points and comments. So can one say:

many opinions, when referring to my many points and comments (i.e., "a point is an opinion"); or
an opinion, when referring to my points and comments as a whole?

Can you say "many opnions" to mean "all the points"? Or should one opinion cover all your ideas and comments in the report?

Thanks in advance,

i

Without seeing what you have written, you could use either: "The following are my opinions on the various points raised" Or "This report gives my opinion on the various points raised".
