Opinions about hiphop in english.

Hi,

For a class about intercultural communication I have to find some opinions from people about the influences of hiphop in English. How much do you think music influences non-native speakers of English? Do other people around you use a lot of slang in their english? If you're a native speaker, does it bother you if a foreigner uses hiphop slang in their speech? Do you hear foreigners use British slang or American slang?

The rebellion of youth has been the wellspring of slang language, some of which becomes mainstream.

Hey,
Whenever I speak with foreigners, they tend to use slang even more often than native speakers. Occasionally it can become fairly annoying, as they generally don't understand when they have crossed from being "cool" to simply sounding uneducated or extremely rude. This is probably caused by the fact that most slang terms have multiple meanings, at least some of which can be rather rude
