Do you think working in group is more effective than working on your own?

In my opinion, I agree up to a point that working in a group is more effective than working in your own. It is true that when working in a group, you have a favourable environment to develop some social skills effectively. If you are chosen to be a leader of a group, you can learn how to be an excellent one and the necessary skills to control a group, which may help in the future career. However, even if you are not a leader, there are still a lot to learn. You can learn how to give and protect your own ideas, how to respect others’ views, how to co-operate with others. Moreover, working in a group helps you solve complex tasks more easily by breaking it into small parts which are assigned to each member. That way, you can also find a solution for a problem more quickly. Therefore, working in a group helps you solve much more problems than working on your own. In addition, the outcome of group work is usually better than that of individual work. However, sometimes, working on your own shows some advantages over group work. That is, you can work with your own pace, or you can decide whatever you want to do without conflicts, which group work usually encounters. In conclusion, I think working in a group generally benefits you more than working individually, but sometimes you still should spend your time managing to solve a problem yourself.
