Opinion on/of/about college life

Hello,
I have problem with a sentence. This is the sentence:
Jennifer's opinion on/of/about college life was ridiculous.

I don't know which preposition is ok in here. I have asked this question in two other forums but native English speakers gave me different answers so that I decided to ask it here too. Because I'm confused by receiving different responses.

One of the native English speakers told me: " You can use all of them (on/of/about)
The other told me: "You can use 'of' because it's natural"
Another one told me: "Use about"

Most of them told me "of" is more natural than the others because [college life] is something specific.

This is my confusion (questions): As you know we usually use [opinion of] for specific things or persons. Like: this flower-that car-Alex-my father ...etc.

But why do they call a [college life] a specific thing? Isn't it general?
I wonder why they use [of] for [college life]? It isn't a specific thing. I have mentioned the specific things above.
You see my confusion? I will be happy if you solve this confusion of mine.

Many thanks in advance.
