In my opinion, people who are not interested in these arts have to consider those who have a different taste from them. The arts are what preserve a country's history of culture and that is the main reason why government needs to support all these forms of art. Furthermore, the arts are a way of educating people of all ages by exposing them to different forms of creativity. They also offer people the opportunity to explore various forms of self-expression. Even if ballet, opera and classical music are often considered to appeal to the elite rather than everyday people, every citizen should be given the chance to be acquainted with this kind of arts and then decide whether it suits them or not.

Another reason these arts should be supported by the government is the fact that the work behind the scene constitutes the most important part of them. The effort that people make in order to perfect their performance is huge. Singers, dancers etc. spend long hours on practising and try to keep their physical health in great levels in order to do their best and entertain their audience.
