operating/operation

Hi

"Properties acquired by the Foundation in the course of its operating" OR MAYBE "OPERATION"?

Also:

1.Funds obtained in result of money-collecting OR "MONEY-COLLECTION

2. "Purposes and rules of the Foundation's operating" or "OPERATIONS"

3. "The purpose of the Foundation is promoting (the) knowledge about the culture of different nations" SHOULD I PUT "THE" BEFORE "KNOWLEDGE"

THANKS

I really feel that fuller context is needed. Answering these questions blind could lead to poor drafting of a document. What is this Foundation?

3. "The purpose of the Foundation is promoting (the) knowledge about the culture of different nations" SHOULD I PUT "THE" BEFORE "KNOWLEDGE"
