Dear teachers,
Could you please check if my sentences below are correct?

We are open daily except for Sundays/except Sundays
The Museum is open daily except for Sundays/except Sundays
We clean the house except the bathroom/except for the bathroom

We will help these persons except / except for Jack and Jim
In this sentence, does it mean that Jack and Jim will not receive our help or does it mean that Jack and Jim will not help?

But when I want to express the idea that " Jack and Jim will not join us in helping these person", How should I do? Can I saylike this ?:

We, except for/except Jack and Jim, will help these persons"
