Vocabulary

onward

Hello,
First I'd like to apologize for asking this question for it is rather silly. My apologies.
Is it correct to say: "From this day onwards, I will be looking after you", "From the 25th of March onwards..."? Can we use a date + onward?

P.S. Wrong thread title, I am sorry Emotion: sad.
