On/Of Something

"A report of/on the accident will be ready soon."
"What does a timeline on/of a foreclosure look like?"

Could both "on" and "of" give identical meanings to the reader?

Hi MeggPhaggSioux,

For the former one I would say that "of/on/about" are the possible choices and for the latter one "for" would be preferable to me.

Iman
