Only by doing something will I be able to...

Hi all. I remember I once see a phrase written in the following structure: only by doing something can I/will I ...

I forgot how this structure should be used and can be used and so I wish to look it up, but first I need to know the name of such structure. Can you tell me the name of it? It would be even better if you could tell me how to use it.

Thanks!

It's called subject-verb inversion (or simply inversion). It takes place after certain words, "only" being one of them.
