Is my inversion correct?
The article is about conformation bias which the passage defines as a difficulty to accept the result of a new experiment since it refutes the result of previously accepted theory. The professor states that in the past scientists believed that we have only 48 chromosomes since they used primitive microscopes. But, with the advances in technology, scientists could see 46 chromosome under microsscope, however, they couldn't accept it. Only after did many scientists inform that they saw 46 chromosomes, all scientists accepted it.

Yes, except that with 'informed' you need to say who was informed.
