On/in/at the front and back?

Dear All,

I'm in trouble with what the correct expression is for saying that, e.g., someone had got burnt on the front and back part of the body as well. Do I say, he got burnt both "on the front and back", "in the front and back", "at the front and back", or something else? Could you, please, help me? Thanks.
